Last night I had two dreams:
I'm rollerblading through the natural history museum, through the dinosaur exhibit. It's night out and I am the only one. The halls are so big and tranquil. As I'm leaving I say goodnight to the security guard.
Next dream:
I go to lunch with Bill. Afterwords we are driving around and we pas by Marcus Gras' house. The backyard has a huge swing set and swimming pool, and there are all these kids hanging out swinging and playing.
"how is it he gets so lucky and has all the money?" I comment. So I decide to come back later and visit. I stop by and Marcus is out on the porch. I've got Kayla in the car. Marcus comes over to greet me and comments on how cute Kayla is. I tell him I'll call him later and I get into the car. It won't start, so I coast it home. At home I call Marcus and ask if we can have a pool party. He says sure, so I call my friends and we all head over there. Half way through Ike comes through, and when he does Marcus goes inside. I talk to Ike and he tells me that Marcus' dad is inside. The Dave shows up and I get ready to go with him. I introduce Dave to Scott McCloud, then we set off in his truck. Dave and I go to my house and get my stuff: some tweezers and astringent. It's a beautiful day out and Dave asks me to rub his back. At first he's wearing his camping pack, but then he takes it off, and sits on the picnic table. While I am giving him a back rub I envision a man with brown hair, laying down with a full erection while I woman stands over him. And both are naked and both are vague pictures. This makes me smile. When I'm done I tell Dave I need to go back to Marcus' to tell everyone the party's over and they need to leave. We go out to Dave's car, nut it's a red mustang. Dave looks at me with a Jack Nicholson devilish grin and gets in the car, but he won't let me in. So I go in the house, fuming, and I recall how Manuel used to do that and how it pissed me off. Then he drove off. I give him two min to get back, then I take off in my car. Next thing I know I'm with Bill & Graeme, we are driving down Colfax, which is under construction. We go to Madison St. and pull into the shopping complex. There's a Baskin Robbins, I go in and ask if Marcus works there. Jill turns around and she's got her kid helping her out. She says that Marcus didn't show up, and I tell her why. His dad came and took him somewhere and he was trying to get here, but it didn't work out. She says that when she met Marcus she knew he knew me, he was a good guy. I tell her that we used to date as freshman. I leave to go use the phones to call Dave, but I can't use any of them. There is some Latin guy there and he has a cell but he tries to use the payphone and it won't work for him either.
