25 Sept 2007 dream #1
Last night I dreamt:
I am living in the house on Dexter and I am married to Brian and we have a young boy. It's late night and we are trying to go to bed, but our son is all happy and wound up, playing round and not getting in bed. Brian and I are both in bed, in my old room, with the foot of the bed facing the door. Our son is still running around the house and he runs downstairs. I am too tired to keep yelling at him to go to bed and figure he'll got scared being downstairs by himself and come back up. I am laying in the bed looking at the ceiling when he comes back into our room, now very subdued and looking frightened. He asks me if he can sleep with me because he doesn't want me to drown. He tells me that the woman is going to come and kill me, so he has to sleep with me and he tells me, as he gets in the bed, not to go after her when she comes. I am startled by his behaviour and want to go downstairs to see what is down there, but Brian tells me in is half asleep state not to worry and to stay in bed. Now both of them are asleep and I begin to calm down and fall asleep, when the dog, who looks just like Gracie(my friend's dog), suddenly wakes up and goes to the foot of the bed and stands alert, slightly growling. Then I see a woman carrying a door standing in the hall. She puts the door on the bathroom and enters it. She is a white adult woman but I can't recall much else. Brian tells me to ignore it and falls back asleep. I lay there for awhile not knowing what to do and I hear the bath start. I finally get up and go into the bathroom. I am upset that Brian just slept through all this, and agitated by what my son said to me, and angry that this ghost was threatening me. I open the door and it is all steamy inside and the heat lamp is on. I don't see the woman in the bathroom, but then these wet wash clothes, or maybe wet clothes, or maybe wet towels come flying at my face and start to attach themselves to my head as though they were trying to suffocate me. Then I woke up.
